AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - If you live in Austintown or Canfield Townships and get your water from the Youngstown Water Department, then you might start seeing a change in water pressure beginning Monday. Those changes could last for a couple of months.

The City of Youngstown will begin painting the Kirk Road Water Tank on Monday, June 15, according to a release from the city water department.

The water tank painting work is scheduled to be completed by mid-August.

During the two-month time period, customers may experience a change in water pressure, according to the water department.

The work was originally scheduled to begin in March. However, the work was delayed due to precautions taken for the coronavirus pandemic.
