"Why so much hate?! Why?!"

Brandon Brackins of Cleveland struggles to stay composed as he describes to his Facebook audience what he says someone did to him while he was making a delivery in Lisbon last week.

"As I'm getting the package out of the back of the truck...speeds around the truck, damn near hit me, called me a n***** and spit on me!"

Lisbon police say the alleged incident happened along North Market Street, and tell 21 News they're waiting to hear from Brackins' supervisor since she filed the initial complaint.

FedEx released a statement saying in part "We are both saddened and outraged by what our team member experienced. We also have verified that a police report was filed and an investigation is underway."

Chief Mike Abraham says the department is being especially thorough with that investigation given its sensitive nature - and that he hopes to reveal more in the coming days.

"I don't get it...I'm doing you all a service and this is what I get in return?!" Brackins said in the video.

What he says he has gotten in return is a lot of support that he's truly grateful for.

"I appreciate all of y'all, I really do," he said in the video.

21 News reached out to Brackins for comment but has not heard back.
