Valley radio DJ seriously injured in hit and run bike accident

A valley radio D-J was seriously injured Friday night after he was hit by a car while riding his bike in Boardman.
And now a search is underway for the driver who fled the scene.
Brian Price is a DJ on Mix 98.9 and I heart Radio. He says he is lucky to be alive after a silver KIA hit him and then took off without stopping
"At that second I knew something bad was going to happen!" said Price.
That's what Price was thinking in the split second he felt a car come up behind him and hit his rear bike tire. It happened at 10:24 Friday night at the corner of Glenwood and Wildwood in Boardman.
"That threw me up on the windshield and when I landed I fell on the far side on Glenwood. I landed on the grass that probably saved me because I was wearing my helmet and I landed in the grass and not on the street," said Price.
The car that hit him didn't stop but luckily a nurse witnessed the hit and run and called 911.
Brian suffered a broken scapula and he needed 30 stitches on this leg that was ripped open.
Brian was wearing reflective clothing. He says the night-time bike ride was a spur of the moment type thing.
"I can tell you I won't be doing that again, my wife's made that completely clear. If I have to get a bike I can ride in the basement that's fine but I won't be riding the bike at night anymore," added Price.
What's he have to say to the person who did this?
"I really just hope they would come forward themselves. I'm not angry with this person. A lot of things could go into it. I don't know what they are. I just want them to know I absolutely forgive them."
