BOARDMAN, Ohio - A woman has turned herself in after a Boardman hit-and-run accident that left a Valley radio DJ seriously hurt.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that to 21 News Wednesday but would not identify the woman because charges have not been filed yet.

Mix 98.9 DJ Brian Price was riding his bike around 10:20 p.m. Friday when he was hit at the corner of Glenwood and Wildwood.

The car that hit him didn't stop, but a nurse witnessed the hit and run and called 911.

Price suffered a broken scapula, and he needed 30 stitches on this leg, which was ripped open.

Price was wearing reflective clothing. He said the night-time bike ride was a spur of the moment type thing.

"I can tell you. I won't be doing that again. My wife's made that completely clear. If I have to get a bike, I can ride in the basement that's fine, but I won't be riding the bike at night anymore," Price said.
