Video: Burglars use axe to break into Beaver Township business
BEAVER TWP., Ohio - Police are hoping social media can help them solve a burglary at a Beaver Township business.
Detectives have posted videos on Facebook showing two people breaking into Generator Specialists on Woodworth Road in North Lima early Tuesday.
One of the videos shows someone using an ax to smash a window.
After climbing inside, it took the suspect less than ten seconds to grab two generators and a leaf blower, handing one of the stolen items to an accomplice who was waiting outside.
Another video shows the two suspects crouching outside the business as traffic passes the area of Woodworth and South Range Roads.
On a third video, the two men can be seen walking outside the business.
Anyone who may have seen anything or has information about the crime is asked to call the Beaver Police Department at 330-549-5338.
