Lisbon racial movement for FedEx driver receives national attention

LISBON, Ohio - Lisbon residents started a movement for a FedEx Driver, Brandon Brackins, who took to social media claiming he was spit on and called a racial slur.
Residents started a Facebook group creating signs to post throughout the city and over 200 have been sold locally and nationally in support of him.
About 70% of the proceeds will go to Brackins, who chose to donate to a charity.
Lisbon residents Christine Schreffler, Sarah Chuck and Brooke Faulk came up with the idea and raised $14-hundred so far. The signs will be distributed and sold tomorrow for $10 from 4-6 p.m. at Dashing Divas in downtown Lisbon and 10-12 p.m. Saturday.
"For a day, I sat and thought, 'What can I do? How can I help this young man? What can we do as a community?'" Schreffler said. "We want Brandon to be able to drive through Lisbon and see these signs are for him and that's he's welcome here."
