Youngstown Water Department resumes standard collections, disconnections July 20th
YWD suspended disconnections for the months of March, April, May and June, and waived all fees and penalties and restored service to customers that were disconnected.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - As the state continues to reopen businesses, the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency is ending the moratorium on water utility shutoffs on Friday.
The Youngstown Water Department (YWD) will resume its standard collection procedures on July 20 and includes disconnection if the bill isn't paid.
YWD suspended disconnections for March, April, May, and June, and waived all fees and penalties and restored service to customers that were disconnected.
The water department's downtown office has limited access currently and is following CDC guidelines to keep employees and customers safe.
