YSU's Darius Quisenberry returning after considering 2020 NBA draft

Youngstown State University point guard Darius Quisenberry announced on Twitter that he has withdrawn his name from the 2020 NBA draft, and will return for his junior season with the Penguins.
Quisenberry declared for the 2020 draft in April after a period of uncertainty following his sophomore year.
In the tweet, Quisenberry wrote, "I am excited for the upcoming season and the group we have right now! For my coaches and brothers, I'll see y'all soon and for the community of Youngstown, I just got five words; 'LET'S GO WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP.'"
Quisenberry also mentioned he's still very much involved in speaking out against social injustices and suggested that people should continue to wear a mask during the COVID-19 pandemic so sports can resume. He told 21 Sports with circumstances surrounding the coronavirus, it was best to return to Youngstown State, as many pro camps and practices have been canceled. Quisenberry added he had to make a decision soon, so if and when NCAA practices and summer workouts do start, he'd be ready.
He says just making a decision one way or the other has already put his mind at ease.
"It's just a pressure lifted off your shoulders," he said. "Nobody will ask what's going on or if I'm coming back [now]. It's good to have that cleared up and out of the way."
The Springfield, Ohio native appeared in all 33 games last season, making 32 starts. He was named to the All-Horizon League First-Team after averaging 16.6 points, 3.6 rebounds 4.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He also scored in double figures 27 times with 10 games of at least 20 points and a career-high 41 points against Wright State on Feb. 20, according to the YSU sports information department.
