YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - This weekend, Home Savings customers may notice their online banking is unavailable.

That's because a big transition is happening.

Home Savings merged with First Federal Bank of Defiance to form Premier Bank.

Customers will not be able to access their accounts on the mobile app until Monday since the systems are changing over the weekend.

Online banking is in a "view only" mode until the new site launches on Monday.

You can find that here.

They will have to download the First Federal app to sign into their account.

To do so, follow the steps below.

  • First, log in to Online Banking at YourPremierBank.com to update your passcode before accessing Mobile Banking for the first time (please review the Online Banking log in instructions below).
  • After logging in to Premier Bank Online Banking, you can enroll your device through the Mobile Banking Center by selecting Mobile Banking within the “Customer Service” tab.
  • You will receive a text message with a link to download the First Federal Bank Mobile Banking app or you can go to the appropriate app store to download the First Federal Bank Mobile Banking app for your Apple® or Android® device.

You'll also have to call the number 1-855-858-1029 to activate your new Premier Bank Debit Card.

Customers can stop using their old card on Monday. They are still usable over the weekend.

Deposit account numbers will not change, so customers can continue to use up their existing supply of checks and deposit slips until they run out.

The signage on the iconic Home Savings building in Downtown Youngstown will be completed by the end of this month.
