Suspects nabbed for Warren Citi Trends robbery

WARREN, Ohio - Police have tracked down two men accused of stealing armloads of clothing from a Warren store and shoving the clerk who tried to stop them.
Kasmond Parker, 33, of Warren and Jacob Hawkins, 24, of Newton Falls were booked into the Trumbull County Jail over the weekend charges of robbery.
Police believe the suspects are the same men who left the Citi Trends store on Elm Road NE carrying “armfuls” of clothes on May 30th
According to the police report, one of the men grabbed the arm of an employee who was attempting to grab the stolen clothing as they hopped into a mini-van, then drove away.
In addition to the license plate number of the van, detectives reviewed store surveillance video to help them identify the suspects.
Although no weapon was seen during the crime, robbery charges were filed because force was allegedly used.
