Businesses booming in Hermitage Towne Plaza

HERMITAGE, Pa. - Gabes, Rita's, The Perfect Bite and Ollie's are all new to the Hermitage Towne Plaza on East State Street. Gabe's pre-opened Wednesday with the grand opening set for Saturday, July 25.
Rita's opened Tuesday and The Perfect Bite opened late June. Ollie's is under construction and set to open in the fall.
Owner of Rita's and manager of The Perfect Bite said they faced a delay to open because of coronavirus obstacles, but finally kicked off a successful start.
"We all want our lives to go back to normal as quickly as possible," Owner of Rita's, John Sarandrea, said. "To see the boom in this plaza...for the good people that own it and for the good people of the Shenango Valley and Mercer County; It's awesome."
Manager Ashley Mausser of The Perfect Bite said she's excited to be a part of booming businesses after they had an opening delay as well.
"It's been great," Mausser said. "We were originally supposed to open in March, but that wasn't able to happen because of COVID. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive."
