Cedar Point cuts back operating hours for second half of season
Starting in mid-August, the park will only be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with the reduced operating dates expected to continue throughout the year.

SANDUSKY, Ohio - Cedar Point Amusement Park is drastically cutting back its operating hours for the remainder of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting in mid-August, the park will only be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with the reduced operating dates expected to continue throughout the year.
The park updated its operating schedule on the Cedar Point website.
The park will be open Labor Day, Monday, September 7.
An updated schedule on the park's fall schedule has not yet been released.
Cedar Point also lifted the park's reservation requirement, meaning guests can enter the park without reserving a spot online.
