A fiery crash in Shenango Township involving two vehicles led to 3 helicopters transporting injured parties from the crash scene.

State Police are investigating the accident that occurred Thursday afternoon on SR 322.

Police say a vehicle malfunction caused a car driven by a 93-year-old woman to cross into oncoming traffic and collide with another vehicle head-on.

Seven total injuries were reported with three being transported to area hospitals by helicopter and the rest by ambulance

The vehicle that was hit had a one-year-old and four-year-old inside.

The one-year-old was not injured.

The condition of the rest taken from the scene is not currently available.
