Columbiana Health Department holding skin cancer screenings

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - The Columbiana County Health Department is holding free skin cancer screenings for all residents of Columbiana County.
The clinic will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the Health Department, 7360 State Route 45, Lisbon, Ohio, with screenings available by appointment.
The skin cancer screening event is being co-sponsored by the Columbiana County Health Department and Salem Regional Medical Center as a cancer prevention measure for the community.
A local physician and nurse practitioner will staff the clinic.
There is NO charge to be seen at this clinic for General Health District Residents.
There will be a five-dollar charge for those residing outside of the General Health District or outside of Columbiana County.
Skin Cancer is the most common type of cancer with more than 800,000 people developing skin cancer each year.
Skin Cancers are easy to detect and most can be cured when detected early.
