LIBERTY TWP, Ohio - Police are investigating after a man was attacked in Liberty.

Initial reports say the incident happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday at Hotel 30 on Motor Inn Drive.

Trumbull County Dispatch told 21 News that a man broke into the victim's room and attacked him.

The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown for his injuries.

A suspect was taken into custody but there's no word yet on his identity or charges.
