Tailgating at Browns games banned for September

In 2020, COVID-19 has impacted all aspects of our lives. And now, even tailgating before Cleveland Browns home games has gone to the dogs.
Cleveland Browns fans will not be allowed to tailgate before home games in Cleveland's Muni Lot along the Shoreway in September.
The restrictions are part of Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson's civil emergency proclamation order aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the city, which includes the mandatory wearing of masks.
No vehicles will be allowed into any city-owned parking lots on game days until two hours before kickoff, and the city will not be issuing any permits for tailgating events. Block parties are also banned. The order extends the mayor's order through September 30.
"Public and private gatherings of greater than ten people occurring outside of a single household or living unit, including but not limited to block/street parties and tailgating events, are prohibited," Mayor Frank Jackson's order states.
The Browns' first scheduled game in Baltimore on September 13, and the first home game is Thursday, September 17, against the Cincinnati Bengals.
