Federal authorities have charged a Niles man for alleged threats made to three people on Facebook.

According to an FBI affidavit, two people who posted Facebook comments about a February 9, 2020 shooting in Youngstown received the following responses threatening them and their families.

“..hide your family to f---ing slob. That slut in your profile picture is going with you.”

“How’s that: Still being a p---y behind that cell phone?? Thought so. When that b---h dumps you, she’ll be at my house before you even get out of the hospital.”

“God I would spray his whole family down with an AR. I hope I see this little boy with his family in the park someday. Teach him the lesson he never got from his parents."

“Lol I LOVE HOW QUIET THEY GOT WHEN THEY REALIZED HOW BAD HE F---ED UP (laughing emoji’s) that s—t is irrefutable, you racist f---ing hicks!”

According to the affidavit, the wife of one of the other two victims found the following message:

“Hide you husband, you ugly slut. Here I come.”

The FBI identifies the alleged victims only with the initials" A.W.,"" C.R.," and "K.W."

A Federal Grand Jury subpoenaed Facebook and Sprint phone records and traced the threats to 25-year-old Caleb Hall of Niles, according to the affidavit.

A federal complaint was filed charging Hall with interstate communication of threats.

Hall, who appeared Friday before a U.S. District Court Magistrate in Youngstown, is free on $20,000 bond pending another court hearing set for September 23.
