Part of Austintown's New Road closing next week

The closure is needed for the replacement of a culvert.

AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - A portion of New Road in Austintown will be closing for a few days next week.

The Mahoning County Engineer said that New Road will close to through traffic between South Raccoon Road and Meridian Road from Monday, September 21 through Friday, September 25, 2020.

The closure is needed for the replacement of a culvert near Yolanda Drive.

The detour will be Meridian Road, Burkey Road, and Raccoon Road.
