Troopers have identified the man killed after being struck by a vehicle in Howland Township. 

According to a release, the crash happened Saturday at 6:25 a.m. on Elm Road just south of Wilson Avenue.

State Troopers say 63-year-old Gary Jack of Cortland was traveling southbound on Elm Road when he struck 63-year-old Jeffrey Stankevich of Warren, who was standing in the southbound lane.

Stankevich was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Troopers say Jack was not injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation and there is no word yet on if charges will be filed.
