On Demand Occupational Medicine is now offering instant COVID-19 and flu tests at little to no cost through new rapid technology. 

As of October 2020, On Demand Occupational Medicine offers instant COVID-19 Tests to existing and new patients. The tests have no "expiration" date as of now.

On Demand is located at 5760 Patriot Blvd, Austintown, OH 44505.  (It's right next to Quaker & Lube, across the street from Hollywood Gaming!)

On Demand is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m Monday through Friday. 8 a.m to noon on Saturday. All COVID instant tests must be made ahead of time but patients can expect a short wait time due to the rapid testing.

"On Demand Occupational Medicine is more than just drug testing, and we are very excited to offer not only flu but COVID-19 tests during these uncertain times," says Megan Wine, director of sales for On Demand. "The instant COVID test allows patients to find out if they tested positive or not within the same day so they aren't waiting on results while quarantined. We are also very excited to have the addition of our Immediate Care where patients can be examined and treated in one place."

The type of instant COVID test being used is Abbott's ID NOW COVID-19 Rapid Test. The ID NOW test is "a rapid, molecular point-of-care test that detects COVID-19 in 13 minutes or less," according to Abbott's website abbott.com. ID NOW was authorized in March 2020 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
