Benefit dinner planned to raise money for park dedicated to Rowan Sweeney

STRUTHERS, Ohio - A benefit dinner is scheduled for Sunday afternoon, Nov. 1, with all proceeds going towards Rowan's Park.
The proceeds will go towards a park in honor of Rowan Sweeney, a four-year-old who was killed in a shooting in September. The event will be held at The Embassy Banquet Centre on Youngstown-Poland Road from 12 to 7 p.m.
Pasta and meatball dinners will be $15 and will be carry out only. Advanced tickets are encouraged as tickets at the door will be limited. Due to COVID-19 regulations, there will be three time slots to pick up dinners.

Also on Sunday, the Huntington Bank Community Alley under the Market Street Bridge will be lit red in honor of Rowan, in conjunction with the benefit dinner being held in his honor at The Embassy on Sunday.
