'Trump Train' caravan driving a message to support President

For the second weekend in a row, a Trump Train, or caravan drove through Columbiana County working to get out the vote.
As they campaign to support President Donald Trump some candidates are also campaigning themselves so voters can know more about them and what they have to offer.
They spent the weekend before Tuesday's election getting out the message about the president at the top of the republican ballot and candidates at the local level.
Supporters of President Donald Trump are driving home a message that voting for Trump means support for safer communities, respect for police, valuing life, job creation and freedom from the failures of socialism. They cite Venezuela, Russia, China and other countries and say they don't want America to go down that path.
Dave Johnson, Chairman of the Columbiana County Republican Party said, "People are concerned like never before, and certainly in Columbiana this is Trump country. I expect a very big turnout for President Trump on election day. You can see the number of people his rallies attract. Last week we had 600 cars and trucks in our Trump Train or caravan."
Johnson emphasized, "The Biden, Harris energy policy would be devastating to the Mahoning valley, and crippling to Columbiana County. They are talking about eliminating fracking and eliminating the oil and gas industry which is important for energy independence. Low cost energy is important for business, and homeowners."
Vito Abruzzino a former prosecutor with the Judge Advocate General's Office in the U.S. Airforce was out campaigning for President Trump and himself. He served our country for 20 years and is a Lieutenant Colonel.
Abruzzino said, "Columbiana has a drug problem like other areas, I would look for ways at preventing relapses and seek grants to help in this fight. There are upwards of 30 unsolved cold cases in this county, murders dating back decades and the same person is in there refusing to take the cases, for whatever reasons. Let's get some new blood in there to look at these cases and get these cases to trail for the families. My priorities would also be to protect police, and work with townships."
Abruzzino added, "I was trying cases some of my first days out of law school and at Fort Bragg with jurisdiction over 100,000 people. This would be the first time in over 50 years that someone with new perspectives, and ideas holds that office, someone who supports President Trump and his mission in office."
Abruzzino tells folks his priorities include finding solutions to the drug recidivism rate, fighting for justice for victims, putting new eyes on cold cases, defending police, and working with townships.
Roy Paparodis a business owner, who served on the city council twice, says his experience with financial issues separates him from his competition in the race for Columbiana County Commissioner.
Paparodis said, "Bringing business in and if we bring in more business we can get more taxes without raising taxes, and put the money to good use for people in Columbiana County."
There were people from all walks of life here, a once lifetime democrat steelworker and coal miner says the president's opponent who voted for American job killing trade deals has him solidly on the Trump Train.
Guy Frey said, "Jobs are being shut down, going overseas to low income wages and products are being made and shipped back to our country, and companies are still making a profit. I was taught to vote democrat all my life, but I opened my eyes and educated myself. Joe Biden voted for several bad trade deals that meant Americans lost good paying jobs. I am also sick of the corruption with the false investigation into President Trump. They wasted millions of tax dollars I hope all those people responsible are prosecuted."
