Mercer County man reports $500 blackmail scheme over nude photos
The victim told investigators that the suspect threatened to send the pictures to the victim’s wife unless he paid $500.

PINE TWP., Mercer Co., Pa. - A Mercer County man may have learned a tough lesson about sending nude pictures of himself over the internet.
State Police are investigating a claim from a 57-year-old Pine Township man who said he sent naked pictures of himself to someone he doesn’t know.
The victim told investigators that the suspect threatened to send the pictures to the victim’s wife unless he paid $500.
According to the report, the victim sent $500 worth of Amazon and iTunes gift cards to the suspect, who he never met in person.
Police say there are no suspects, leads, or witnesses.
