Nurses at East Liverpool City Hospital voted to strike Friday.
According to the release, 97% of the nurses at the hospital voted for an unfair labor practice strike.
That strike is set to begin Saturday at 7 a.m.
The ONA's contract is set to expire at midnight Friday.
The strike comes after the hospital rejected the union's offer for a two-week extension to the contract on November 18.
The union says they have offered several dates to continue negotiations, but the hospital has yet to accept any of the proposed dates at this time.
