WARREN, Ohio - The Warren community is coming together to remember those lost to suicide.

As part of International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, the 22nd annual candlelight vigil will be held Nov. 21 at Victory Christian Center's Warren campus on Tod Avenue. The event will start at 6 p.m.

Organizers say the event is in remembrance of Valerie Kopiak, who was 19 when she took her own life in 1998, as well as others who have been lost to suicide.

The event is sponsored by the Help Network of Northeast Ohio and is open to the public. People are invited to share memories of their loved ones and light candles in remembrance of them. Face coverings are required and social distancing will be practiced, according to organizers.
