WARREN, Ohio - Cameras will now watch over a Warren park.
The surveillance camera system has been installed at Quinby Park along Austin Avenue.
Council members and community organizations have been advocating to get the cameras for three years because of upgrades at the park.
Those include things like new playground equipment and enhancements to the fishing pond.
Councilwoman Cheryl Saffold brought up a deadly shooting that happened over the summer during a birthday party.
She says this camera system will help deter future crime and help visitors feel safe.
