Driver to be sentenced for Southington pedestrian fatality

NEWTON FALLS, Ohio - A Southington Township man awaits sentencing for the death of a woman who was struck while walking along a road.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled in Newton Falls Court on February 9 for 71-year-old William Dally, who pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one misdemeanor count of vehicular homicide.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Dally was driving a pickup truck that struck and killed 65-year-old Kathleen Westenfelder of Southington as she was walking along Helsey Fusselman Road in April of last year.
