The Cafaro Foundation has made a generous donation to the annual Feed Our Valley Campaign of $10,000.

Since its inception in 2007, Feed Our Valley has raised a total of $1,076,249 and collected 871,671 pounds of food to help fight hunger in the Mahoning Valley.

The historic $1 million mark was reached in 2020 despite the challenges posed during the coronavirus pandemic.

Joe Bell with the Covelli Foundation said, "We wanted to not disappoint anybody else, especially people in our community who have really needed the help, have fallen on hard times and so 10,000 dollars from the Cafaro Foundation is just part of the effort this community is making and just happy to be part of it."

In 2020, the campaign raised $145,073, and with the generous $10,000 donation from the Cafaro Foundation to the campaign, the total amount was raised to $155,073.

Second Harvest Food Bank also received a total of 60,317 pounds of food during the Feed Our Valley Campaign.
