NEW CASTLE, Pa. -
New Castle police have arrested a man that's wanted for murder out of Chicago. 
 
The department was contacted by the FBI about the possibility of a murder suspect named Jaylen Saulsberry being in the city.
 
He was wanted for an attempted carjacking that resulted in the murder of a retired Chicago fireman.
 
Saulsberry was also wanted on a November carjacking in which he fired his weapon. 
 
Members of the FBI Pittsburgh and New Castle Office, FBI SWAT, the NCPD detectives and uniform officers did work the case throughout the day and took Saulsberry into custody. 
 
Police said he was found on Bell Avenue and arrested without incident. 
 
He will remain in the Lawrence County Jail until he begins the extradition process back to Illinois.
