Struthers-based Astro Shapes has been acquired by Monomoy Capital Partners.

Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Struthers, Ohio, Astro Shapes LLC is a manufacturer of custom-finished aluminum extrusions in the Midwest and Northeast United States.

The Company creates value-added extrusions in over 14,000 unique shapes and sizes and in mill, painted, thermal, anodized and other finishes for recreational vehicles, residential windows and doors, commercial building products, medical applications, and capital equipment.

Astro Shapes operates out of three neighboring facilities in Struthers, Ohio and has approximately 700 employees.

Monomoy acquired Astro Shapes through a third private equity vehicle.
