The big prizes for the nation’s two most popular lottery games have grown to more than $1.1 billion.

The Powerball jackpot rolled to what could be the 9th largest top prize in its game history after no one selected all the numbers drawn Saturday night.

The Powerball jackpot now stands at an estimated $550 million ($411.4 million cash value) for the Wednesday, January 13 drawing. This is the highest the Powerball jackpot has been since March 2019.

The Powerball jackpot was last hit in New York in the Sept. 16, 2020 drawing.

For just the fourth time in Mega Millions history, the jackpot has reached $600 million. The cash value is $442.4 million. The next drawing is Tuesday night.

Both drawings can be seen during the 11 pm news on 21 WFMJ.
