Austintown residents escape from burning home
The first firefighters to arrive reported heavy flames in the front of the home.

AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - People living in an Austintown Township home were forced to flee into sub-freezing temperatures early Monday after a fire broke out.
Residents of a home on Nantucket Drive evacuated at around 6 a.m.
The first firefighters to arrive reported heavy flames in the front of the home.
The fire spread into the attic as well.
Damage is so extensive a company has been called to board up the home. The Red Cross is helping the family with shelter and other needs.
There is still no official word on the cause of the fire. However, investigators suspect that smoking may have been the cause.
