Just one day after he turned 18 and legally became an adult, a suspect police believe is connected to a shooting in Struthers that killed a four-year-old boy has been moved to the county jail.

Brandon Crump was in juvenile court Monday morning, where his case was continued until February.

This hearing will decide if Crump will face charges in adult court rather than Juvenile Court.

Since Crump turned 18 on Sunday, January 10, the judge ordered him to be moved from the Juvenile Justice Center to the Mahoning County Jail.

Crump was captured by authorities after he tried to escape the Juvenile Justice Center in November.

Crump is booked on a charge of aggravated robbery.

Another suspect in the shooting of Rowan Sweeney, 24-year-old Kimonie Bryant, faces four counts of aggravated murder, four counts of attempted murder, four counts of felonious assault, one count of aggravated burglary and one count of aggravated robbery.

Officials said Sweeney was killed back in September after Bryant entered the home shot four people and then Rowan.
