Liquor Control Commission finds 2 local bars in violation of health orders

In hearings last week, the Ohio Liquor Control Commission heard cases against two Valley bars accused of violating state COVID-19 health guidelines.
The two local businesses were:
- American Legion Post 504, 2225 Glenwood Ave., Youngstown
- Titsy Bull, LLC, 1931 W. Market St., Warren
The commission says agents saw people drinking alcohol on Oct. 8 at American Legion Post 504 between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
This is in violation of the state’s 10 p.m. curfew.
Managers of American Legion denied the allegations but were found to be in violation.
The Commission issued a five-day suspension beginning at 12 p.m. on Feb. 24.
American Legion Post 504 was also given the option to pay a $500 fine instead.
Titsy Bull was also accused of serving alcohol after the curfew on Oct. 1.
The bar was also accused of allowing disorderly conduct.
Managers denied the allegations at the hearing but were also found to be in violation.
Titsy Bull was issued a six-day suspension for the curfew violation and a three-day suspension for the disorderly conduct violation.
Titsy Bull was also given the choice to pay $1,500 in fines for both violations instead of the suspensions.
