Valley native Mike Stoops heading to FAU

He's been an analyst for Alabama the last two years.

Valley native and Cardinal Mooney graduate Mike Stoops may be changing area codes.

Yahoo sports reports he'll be named the defensive coordinator at Florida Atlantic.

Stoops has been analyst at Alabama the past couple of seasons.

Stoops was the head coach Arizona from 2004-2011 and also was the defensive coordinator at Oklahoma from 1999-2003 and then from 2012-2018.
