Protests at Walmart to back American made products

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Labor and environmental groups ramp up protests at Walmart Stores from coast to coast.
A union of electrical workers group was outside the Austintown Walmart Saturday, are trying to inform the public of what they call a "backpedal on "Made in America products."
A GE lighting plant in Ohio is one of the last in the country making consumer LED bulbs, and it now faces closure and outsourcing the work to China.
The group wants to put pressure on mega-retailer Walmart to back 'Made in America' products and save the GE plant.
Bill Draves with the International Union of Electrical Workers said, "Walmart SUPPOSEDLY SUPPORTs AMERICAN JOBS AND MANUFACTURING JOBS IN AMERICA. WE'RE ASKING THEM TO PUT IT UP, AND THEY CAN INSIST THAT THESE BULBS ARE MADE IN THE U.S. AND KEEP THEM HERE PROVE TO US THAT YOU SUPPORT BUY IN AMERICA AND MADE IN AMERICA."
If the lighting manufacturer closes, the union says around 80 Ohio jobs will be lost.
An online petition has also been launched to support the campaign.
