Pennsylvania State Police in Mercer County are investigating after an alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.

According to the report, the teen told a school counselor that she had been sexually assaulted by her friend's father, 38-year-old William Ice, in January.

State Police say Ice is facing criminal charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor and endangering the welfare of a child.

An arrest warrant was issued for Ice and police say he is believed to be on the run.

In addition to the charges from the Mercer County case, Ice is facing charges in Mahoning County related to an investigation by the Human Trafficking Task Force.

Ice allegedly tried to meet up with what he believed to be an underage child for sex in June 2020. The meeting was actually part of an operation by the Mahoning County Sheriff's Department.

According to police, Ice realized he was going to be arrested and fled the scene in a car, nearly hitting two officers and leading them on a short chase before colliding with a Pennsylvania State Trooper's car.

Anyone with information on Ice's whereabouts can call 911 or Trooper Joseph Snyder with PSP Mercer Criminal Investigation Unit at 724-662-6162.
