PA. adds 3,345 cases of COVID, 94 deaths

The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting 3,345 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 905,995 as of Thursday, Feb. 18.
There are 2,174 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19 in the state and 465 patients in the intensive care unit.
The state also added 94 additional COVID-related deaths, with 23,413 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
Mercer County is reporting 7,880 confirmed and probable cases of covid in the county since the beginning of the pandemic, with the number of cases at 7,201.3 per 100,000 people. There have been 237 deaths so far attributed to covid in the county. Mercer County has administered 11,662 first doses of vaccine in the county, and 4,280-second doses.
Lawrence County is reporting 5,869 confirmed and probable cases of covid in the county, with the number of cases at 6,863.4 per 100,000 people. There have been 178 deaths so far attributed to covid in the county. Lawrence County has administered 6,551 first doses of vaccine in the county, and 2,402-second doses.
Vaccination clinics throughout the state, excluding Philadelphia or federal facilities, have given out 183,575 first doses and 143,275-second doses of the vaccine this week. A total of 1,365,523 have reached the first dose in the stat so far, and 467,115 administered the second dose.
There are 106,379 individuals who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases and 637 individuals who have a positive serology test and either COVID-19 symptoms or a high-risk exposure. There are 3,799,916 individuals who have tested negative to date.
In licensed nursing and personal care homes, there are 65,817 resident cases of COVID-19, and 12,755 cases among employees, for a total of 78,572 at 1,560 facilities. Approximately 24,313 of our total cases are among health care workers.
