The Ohio Department of Health is reporting 2,282 additional cases in the state for Thursday, Feb. 18. The number is below the three-week average of 3,032 cases per day. The state is reported 947,389 confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. 

The state is reporting 98 deaths in the last 24 hours from the disease, which is also below the 21-day average of 267 cases per day. There have been 16,611 covid-related deaths from the disease in the last year in Ohio.

The state has reported hospitalizations in the state in the last 24 hours at 173, which is above the three-week average of 156 hospitalizations per day. There have been 49,061 hospitalizations reported from the virus in the state. ICU admissions are also above the 3-week average, with 28 admissions in the last day, and 17 daily admissions as the average.

Mahoning County is reporting 47 additional COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, and a total of 19,034 confirmed and probable cases. There have been 6 additional hospitalizations in the last day, and a total of 905 hospitalizations for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic. Mahoning County is also reporting 3 COVID-related deaths and a total of 530 deaths since last March.

Trumbull County is reporting 28 additional COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, and a total of 13,962 confirmed and probable cases. There have been 4 additional hospitalizations in the last day, and a total of 998 hospitalizations for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic. Trumbull County is also reporting 3 COVID-related deaths and a total of 445 deaths since last March.

Columbiana County is reporting 27 additional COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, and a total of 7,969 confirmed and probable cases. There have been no additional hospitalizations in the last day, and a total of 460 hospitalizations for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic. Coulmbiana County is also reporting 1 COVID-related deaths and a total of 176 deaths since last March.
