CHAMPION TWP., Ohio - Champion Schools have moved up the time of a scheduled town hall meeting to discuss a full return to in-person learning the week of March 8th.

"We will slowly transition to full five-day weeks, so the first couple of weeks we will continue to have Mondays as remote learning days," said Superintendent John Grabowski.

Over the next few weeks, the district will be moving desks and furniture to prepare for the increased number of students.

School officials have announced that the start time of a Zoom town hall meeting on Tuesday, February 23rd has been changed from 7:30 p.m. via Zoom to 6 pm.

The Zoom invitation will be sent out Tuesday morning by noon with a link.

During the town hall meeting, the district will be discussing new guidance from the CDC and the state health department, new safety measures that will be in place, and other changes that will occur as the transition happens.

"We are looking forward to getting all of our students back to school very soon. For the families of those students that want to continue 100% remote learning, that opportunity will remain in place for the rest of the school year."
