Plastic surgeon with ties to Valley gets Gorilla Glue out of woman's hair

It all started when Tessica Brown ran out of hairspray and gel, then sprayed her hair with Gorilla Glue with the hopes she could wash it out later.
After trying for a month, Brown became desperate with rigid immovable locks but a plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills would come to the Louisiana woman's rescue.
Dr. Michael Obeng, ironically started his career here in Youngstown at St Elizabeth's.
A staff member at his office saw the story and asked if it was possible to help her.
Brown's accident took her to a Lousiana emergency room that initially burned her scalp but didn't help.
So, after some careful research, consulting with chemists from his old alma mater, Dr. Obeng came up with a non-toxic solution of medical grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil, and a bit of acetone.
Dr. Obeng provided his services free of charge.
A four-hour procedure that left Brown's scalp glue-free and saved her hair.
Dr. Obeng says he's just happy he was able to help.
