PennDOT restores I-80 speed in Mercer, Venango counties
Speed limits returned to normal after 9 a.m.

OIL CITY, Pa. -
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has restored the speed limit on Interstate 80 in Mercer and Venango counties.
PennDOT reduced speeds to 45 mph on Interstate 80 from the Ohio state line to Centre County earlier Monday due to weather conditions. The speed limit was restored after 9 a.m.
