Traffic accident cuts power to West Side neighborhood
A crew from FirstEnergy worked through early Tuesday morning to restore electricity to homes and businesses after a car crashed into a pole on Youngstown's West Side.

A crew from FirstEnergy worked through early Tuesday morning to restore electricity to homes and businesses after a car crashed into a pole on Youngstown's West Side.
The accident happened late Monday, shortly before midnight near Bort's Field at Oakwood and Fernwood Avenues.
First responders on the scene said that the pole needed to be replaced. The car was towed away on a flatbed truck.
There is no information on the driver.
As of 4:30 am, FirstEnergy reported that 30 customers were still in the dark, and Oakwood Avenue was closed in the area.
