The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting 3,346 additional positive cases of COVID-19 on Friday, Feb. 26, bringing the statewide total to 926,336.

There are 1,962 individuals hospitalized with the virus in the state. Of that number, 421 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19.

There were 69 additional deaths identified by the Pennsylvania death registry Friday, with a reported total of 23,937 deaths attributed to the virus.

Mercer County is reporting 15 additional cases in the last day, with an infection rate at 7,320.1 per 100,000 people, and reporting one additional death from the virus in the last day, with a total of 239 deaths so far.

Lawerence County is reporting 29 additional cases in the last day, with an infection rate at 7,014.2 per 100,000 people, and reporting one additional death from the virus in the last day, with a total of 182 deaths so far.

This week, a total of 3,172,900 doses will have been allocated through February 27, with 225,890 first doses will have been allocated this week and 180,610-second doses will have been allocated.

To date, of the 3,172,900 doses allocated through February 27, the state has administered 2,226,004 doses total through Feb. 25, with first doses, 86 percent (1,576,984 administered of 1,836,065 allocated); and second doses, 49 percent (649,020 administered of 1,336,835 allocated).
