Police say a search warrant executed on a Salem home discovered a suspected methamphetamine production lab.
The warrant was carried out by The Columbiana County Drug Task Force in the 300 block of Newgarden Avenue.
Police say the search yielded a loaded 9mm pistol, methamphetamine, chemicals for the manufacture of meth, and numerous "one-pot" meth labs.
Michael Troy Boggs was arrested for the assembly of chemicals. Additional charges against him are pending lab results.
The Columbiana County Sheriff's office says this is the third search warrant in a row this week where at least one gun has been found.
Columbiana County Sheriff Brian McLaughlin, The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, Salem Police Department, and Salem Fire Department assisted in executing the search warrant and confiscating the hazardous material.
