Austintown American Legion planning veteran banners

AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - You may have seen banners posted along some area roads honoring our Valley’s bravest. Now Austintown Township streets may be adorned with pictures of local veterans.
American Legion Memorial Post 301 is calling on Austintown Veterans, or anyone who has relatives who are Veterans, to take part in a program honoring the Veterans and active-duty military.
The post is now taking orders for banners to honor a special person who has fought for our freedom. The legion post needs a total of 30 orders to place an order.
Officials at the American Legion said they need the 30 orders by the end of March, and if they don't get those orders in time, they will find a way to continue to work on getting the amount so they can get the order placed.
