HUBBARD, Ohio - A manufacturing company in Hubbard is looking to hire 15 people to fill positions at their plant.

According to the release, Ellwood Aluminum is the first Trumbull County manufacturer to engage with WorkAdvance to fill the open positions.

WorkAdvance is administered by the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition and is funded primarily through the federal Workplace for Rural Communities grant that manages and covers the costs of recruiting, training and retaining candidates.

Ellwood Aluminum has customers across the globe in the aerospace, defense, transportation, construction and other industries.

Employees there work 10-12 hour shifts on a rotating schedule with weekend overtime if needed. Health benefits, holidays, vacation, a wellness program and profit sharing are included with the $16 an hour pay rate for the aluminum casting operator positions.
