WILMINGTON TWP., Pa. - A child reported missing Sunday morning in Lawrence County has been found safe.

Pennsylvania State police were looking for the 10-year-old girl with autism after she went missing sometime overnight in Wilmington Township.

Officials say its unclear why she left her home near State Route 956.

Crews were busy canvassing the area in a search and rescue operation during the early morning hours.

State Police tell 21 News that the 10-year-old was found safe as of 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
