YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown Police are questioning a woman in connection with the murder of a 62-year-old man on the city's South Side.
Police say the victim, whose name has not been released, was found shot to death Sunday morning in a bedroom at a home in the 100 block of E. Auburndale Avenue.
According to police, the man was shot in the stomach.
Officers on scene say a domestic incident led to the shooting and is not believed to be related to other recent shootings.
The latest gunfire within the city follows a press conference held by Youngstown Mayor Tito Brown and Police Chief Carl Davis on Saturday, where they called for calm in the city after two homicides took place in less than 24 hours.
This is the third shooting death on the south side in as many days.
