EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - Investigators are looking for the cause of a three-alarm fire that destroyed an East Liverpool home over the weekend.

Members of East Liverpool Fire Firefighters Local 24 say they were called out before 4 a.m. Sunday after learning that someone may be trapped in the burning home on the 700 block of Woodlawn Street.

Firefighters found flames soaring from the roof of the home and worked for three hours to control the blaze.

It turned out that no one was in the home and no one was injured.
